Fernando Subirats, a musician, a healer, and dream guide takes on a journey in this episode.
I met Fernando in person at a drumming and dreaming series he hosts. Participants meditate and are guided into their past, present, and future dream worlds.
I had a wild ride, which included streaming tears down my face, as I was in the dream world, working to heal a bad memory from growing up.
Fernando takes us through his story, growing up in Miami, discovering his love of music, waking up to spirituality and following his karmic calling.
Stick around for the end of the episode and get comfy, as Fernando takes us through a demonstration of his drumming meditation.
This man is love, light, and healing.
Bio
Musician, Meditation Teacher, Healing Enthusiast: Fernando Subirats, a Miami native, is on a mission to ignite and maintain a creative flame within himself and his local and global community. He is active in and around Miami with facilitating workshops in his own style of meditation called Drumming & Dreaming, which has been presented by The Bagua Center, Innergy Meditation and the Sacred Space. He also performs as a percussionist and vocalist with his Mantra band IntiNaad, drummer for his funk/soul band B Natural, and as a musician for hire with many other local artists. Fernando has a passion for connecting with others and observing the unfolding of intention to manifestation.
As a young child, Fernando demonstrated an innate ability to help others. He was frequently commented on by teachers and caregivers as to his kind nature and willingness to help. At a young age, he was introduced by his mother to Astrology, Astronomy, Traditional world music and 6th sense perception. At the age of 18 he had a very strong karmic episode which led him to travel to India to study Indian music, namely the Tabla drums, with several great masters. This naturally led to further self-discovery with Yoga, Meditation, Intuition and Synchronicity.
Fernando is inspired to serve others and be active in the community because of the synergistic effect of connection, self-realization and fulfillment that comes with working with others in the context of healing and in the Arts. Fernando is also a devoted husband and father to three musical and creative children.
