Do you know why you haven’t found your purpose? In this interview with Stephen Palmer, from my Your Pursuit of Purpose Interview Series, we dive into the three main reasons why: lack of clarity, old wounds and lack of technical skills.
We dive into how purpose is in your DNA, but old wounds from growing up often stand in your way, either masking as lack of clarity or more likely, fear about really going for it. There is often a not good enough feeling that can obscure our purpose. Once we’ve become mindful about what gets in the way, we can make meaningful steps to living our purpose.
I love how Stephen simplified meaningfully making money, as the overlap between what makes you feel good, and what people need. He also stresses you need an outside to understand your money making strengths, as it’s hard to “read the label of the pill bottle” from the inside.
